Makeup is something I’ve always loved, from playing in my mom’s Borghese eye shadow palettes to her M.A.C lipsticks and even Wet n Wild everything! I used to make up my Barbies and friends, and most definitely put too much on. I had bad acne as a teen until I was 27 yrs old, so I used a lot of foundation and concealer to cover it up. I promised myself once my skin was clear, I wouldn’t use it ever again but that doesn’t mean eyes and lips were included in that decision! I love to go the more natural makeup look, meaning less face makeup if it’s not needed and playing up other features. For Brides, Trans-women & Cross dressers, more coverage is needed and that’s where the airbrushing comes in. Fine particles of the liquid foundation spray onto the skin creating a smooth look. Sponges and brushes can accentuate texture on the skin. Most texture can’t be “covered’ to make it disappear, in fact sometimes foundation makes it more noticeable (think painting a textured wall).
